COURSE BRIEF

Are you comfortable with repair of simple fractures? Are you looking to move to the next level and take on more challenging fracture repair? If so, this is the course for you. This course will teach techniques used to repair more difficult comminuted shaft fractures of the humerus, tibia and femur. Participants will repair complex fractures using lag screws, headless compression screws and locking bone plates. Participants will learn important factors to make good decisions for managing surgical repair of fractures to achieve better outcomes and reduce postoperative complications.
