Professor David Church graduated BVSc from the University of Sydney in 1975. After graduating he was appointed there as a small animal clinical instructor and enrolled in a PhD program in the Faculty of Medicine looking at various aspects of the pathophysiology of diabetes mellitus.

Conference Program 13 - 15 March 2020
The conference streams will run from the 13th to 15th March 2020. Over these three days, registered delegates will have access to streams covering Surgery, Medicine, Emergency & Critical Care, Cardiology, Oncology, Dermatology, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Feline Medicine, Clinical Pathology, Physiotherapy, Nursing & Wellness.
With 5 international speakers including Professor David Church, Professor Jill Maddison, Professor Bryden Stanley, Professor William Vernau and Dr Brian Beale, conference delegates will hear from some of the world’s leading experts in their field. The VSS Annual Conference will also boast over 40 local speakers who, combined with the international speakers will deliver a total of 81 talks.
For delegates to get the most out of the conference they are encouraged to attend all three days however; for delegates that are time poor they can choose to attend specific days. Clinic passes are also available for large practices to share access amongst their team members, offering complete flexibility.

As an attendee of the VSS 2020 conference, you can earn up to 20 CPD points for the conference and 36 CPD points for attending the workshops.
Each delegate will be issued with a certificate of attendance which includes verified hours of conference/workshop attendance. This certificate can be used to register your CPD points with the appropriate association.
